The way I interpret all these deals are: JB & EB - Standard Console, your Mario Kart DL is on the receipt.
This way Nintendo ships standard consoles to them as well as letting them get rid of their inventory which is "usually" much greater stock on hand than say Target.Īny other store BESIDES EB and JB will have the specific console bundle with box art (like shown here in the Big W deal) so the staff don't have to worry about the extra hassle of generating/making sure your receipt has a code on it. It sounds like as JB and EB are larger gaming stores/departments compared to other retailers, Nintendo have provided their POS system with generated codes.
